When COVID-19 hit the ACT, GPIT identified business continuity as a subject of immediate need in early March 2020. CHN quickly developed a multifaceted response to support all practices to remain viable during a time of extreme trial by keeping them abreast of changes and informed with up-to-date and relevant strategies. This support was provided through a comprehensive reference document, a series of business continuity webinars, and a dedicated section on the CHN website containing diverse and pertinent workplace and business content. The popular webinars were aimed at general and allied health practices with up to 100 people viewing some webinars. The webinars featured subject matter experts from across the nation covering topics to support practices to survive, recover and grow. This included human resource issues, work health and safety and how to access available government support.
