Early in the COVID-19 pandemic, CHN and other key stakeholders recognised the need to take a systems approach and work in partnership to prepare for, prevent and respond to COVID-19. CHN has been an active and contributing member to two key working groups with ACT Health, Canberra Health Services, and primary care stakeholders including GPs, the RACGP and Winnunga Nimmityjah. The working groups have focused:
- on a primary care response to COVID-19
- COVID-19 in residential aged care facilities.
Both working groups have resulted in a framework for shared action and key activities to be delivered in partnerships to support primary care and residential aged care facilities to address COVID-19.
