With the ongoing pandemic, CHN has invested in ensuring that we continually provide quality education for our members and the broader primary health care industry. The ACT Health Immunisation Program is one of the ways we achieve this.
Over the last year, the team has hosted six webinars under this program funded by the ACT Government. While they have been typically face-to-face, our transition to webinar format has generated positive outcomes in addition to the program’s performance numbers, such as broader availability and reach.
Across the six webinars, over 900 primary health care professionals attended with 65% of attendees being Practice Nurses and 26% GPs. Four out of five attendees said the education entirely met their needs.
