CHN’s Indigenous Health Team continued their partnership with ACT & SNSW HealthPathways team to ensure appropriate pathways were available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health in line with the Closing the Gap targets.
The ACT & SNSW HealthPathways team has become the lead region for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander HealthPathways suite. Becoming a lead region and sharing pathways is a HealthPathways strategy to manage resources and share pathways that benefit all regions.
The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Services Directory recorded a large percentage increase in engagement in Jan-June 2022 in comparison to the previous six months.
The ACT & SNSW HealthPathways program is actively working towards increasing the library and listings of identified resources and services for First Nations communities. This information is identified on the site through the use of flag icons. There are 149 pathways with an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health icon indicating that there is identified information and/or services for First Nations communities.
