Capital Health Network

The CHN Education Program aims to increase knowledge, develop clinical skills and enhance the way in which health care is delivered and health professionals are supported. CHN delivered 49 events to over 2,500 primary health care professionals. This is an increase in attendees of 47% compared to the previous year. Of these events, 10 were COVID-related events attended by over 620 participants. Other events covered topics such as influenza, digital health and BreastScreen.

All events were delivered online due to COVID-19. This transition enabled CHN to:

  • improve access to high-quality education for primary health care
  • support primary health care professionals by enhancing their knowledge on topics relevant to their discipline
  • improve networking capability and capacity to foster integrated care.
