Position Description

Our two (2) vacancies are either fulltime or contract role for a General Practitioner with excellent remuneration. The role includes medical reviews of patients who are engaged in the daily Intensive Treatment Program.  You will be working within a dedicated multidisciplinary team.  We use Best Practice software for our management system.

Qualifications & experience

• General Practitioner Qualification: Valid GP qualification recognised by the FRACGPs or FACCRM.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years post fellowship experience in general practice.
• Teaching Aptitude: Passion for teaching and mentoring. Teaching experience preferred or mentoring for a new GP supervisor.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Verbal and written communication skills.
• Patient-Centred Approach: Commitment to patient care and learner-centeredness.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Supervise and Mentor: Provide one-on-one supervision and mentorship to Registrars.
• Teaching and Training: Facilitate learning sessions covering clinical skills, communication, and practice management.
• Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess medical Registrars performance and offer constructive feedback.
• Model Lifelong Learning: Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other supervisors and contribute to a positive learning environment.
