Job Details
Position Description
Women’s health is a rewarding and rapidly evolving subspeciality. There are many women needing access to quality medical care in an environment that offers the space and time to listen, explore, and plan treatment. If you are a GP who enjoys hearing what women say and working with them to generate positive plans for health and wellbeing, then this is a role to consider. Care is limited to reproductive and sexual health which allows you to focus on detail and achieve high level competencies in contraception, endometriosis and pelvic pain, PCOS, PMDD, pre-conception and antenatal care, vulval and vaginal symptoms, and of course peri/menopause.
This opportunity suits practitioners who would like to continue working in their usual primary care practice but have the opportunity to have dedicated sessions working in our clinic in this focused field. We also welcome doctors who would like to spend time exclusively in women’s health. Sessional work of 4 hours minimum is available, on Monday to Thursdays. Remote telehealth sessions are also feasible.
If you have an interest in aesthetics, you may also wish to get in touch. Non-surgical cosmetic procedures are an important part of our service provision and a key part of supporting mid-life women. We are increasing our client base and will be hiring more doctors for this sphere in 2025.
